How do I find Bass Memorial Academy?

Bass Memorial Academy is located in the heart of the Mississippi Pine Belt on U. S. Highway 11 three miles south of Purvis, Mississippi, which is a half hour south of Hattiesburg and one and a half hours north of New Orleans.  (map)

Can I afford Bass ?

Anyone who truly wants to be at Bass Memorial Academy can afford it. Our newest scholarship program, Pathways, ensures that lower-income families can send their children to our academy. Other scholarship programs such as the 2-way/3-way plan, summer work matching scholarships and Academy Days scholarships continue to provide assistance to those in need. Is Bass accredited ?

Yes, Bass is accredited through SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools) and Accrediting Association of Seventh-day Adventist Schools, Colleges and Universities.

What are the work opportunities?

At Bass, everyone works. On-campus jobs include teacher aids/readers, janitors, cafe workers, grounds & maintenance workers. Off-campus jobs are either at the nursing home or the Flowerbed plant nursery.
